Valerie Begue has been ordered to resign just days into her reign, after Entrevue magazine published provocative photographs taken in her modeling career three years ago.
VALERIE who is a student from the French Indian Ocean island of Reunion had a two week reign after event organizers took exception to pictures of her floating on a crucifix in a swimming pool and eating yogurt in way deemed lewd by contest officials.

Miss France 2008 Valerie Begue, will be able to keep her crown, despite the raunchy photos that surfaced recently in a Entrevue magazine, but she will not be allowed to compete in the Miss World or Miss Universe pageants.She is set to be replaced in international pageants by the first runner-up, Vahinerii Requillart, Miss New Caledonia.
The photos published included one of a bikini-clad Begue lying on a cross in a swimming pool and another of her licking what appeared to be yogurt or evaporated milk.
