There is a really cool feature that Google offers that I feel not many people know about. Google calls the service “Google SMS (Beta)”. What it allows you to do is to send a text message to “GOOGLE” (466453) with a query of your liking and Google will send you a SMS message back with the answer. There is a large list of keyword search items that can be used and they can be found here.I personally use it as a replacement for 411 when I want to find nearby stores. Google will also provide you with the phone number for the locations and the response is nearly instantaneous. It is basically just a mini Google but I think it is also a great replacement for 411 (which now charges around $2 a call).

Some cool features that I use often include checking sports scores, finding movie times, looking up the weather forecast, and checking stocks.
