The HTC Advantage shall soon make itself available in the US. The PDA comes with GSM / GPRS / EDGE connectivity and also has Tri-band UMTS / HSDPA connectivity. It also has an in-built GPS navigation system with the HTC VueFLO nav system. Hardware specs include an 5 inch VGA touch display, detachable QWERTY keyboard, 8GB hard drive, 256MB of flash memory and a 128MB main memory. To facilitate memory expansion, we also have a miniSD card slot.
HTC Advantage sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. You can connect most of the traditional headsets, thanks to the 3.5mm audio jack available on this one. Unlike the HTC Athena it lacks a camera which is good enough as it complies with corporate policies.
The price and the availability date of the HTC Advantage is still a mystery to us, but at least the specs provide some solace of the eager (and lucky) Americans.
