TeamPage Enterprise Wiki Software Now Free

rfid news

Traction Software, a developer of products for web-based collaboration, today announced a free, five-user, five projects download of its TeamPage enterprise blog and wiki solution. The TeamPage5 software is available immediately for download at

http://www.tractionsoftware.com/. TeamPage’s Java server software can be downloaded and installed on Windows, SPARC and Intel based Solaris, Linux and MAC OS X computers. There are no other dependencies, so users don’t have to install and configure other web servers, scripting languages or databases. TeamPage5 customers who wish to develop TeamPage extensions can use Traction’s Skin Definition Language and Java Software Development Kit to develop plug-ins for their own use, to share, or to sell. The TeamPage5 product provides the full functionality of the TeamPage Server but is limited to five login accounts and five projects (blog / wiki spaces). The license can be used for publicly facing or internal websites. Each project can be configured to allow anyone to read, comment or subscribe to RSS feeds. TeamPage5 is free for commercial or non-commercial use. TeamPage5 customers may download software and access online support through Traction Software’s hosted Forum project and knowledge base (registration required), or they may purchase a $1K support contract.
