
HOWTO : TrueCrypt in Ubuntu and Fedora GNU/Linux
I’ve been using TrueCrypt to encrypt financial and personal documents in Windows for a while now and it has worked just fine for the way I want to use it. I’m doing file-based encryption where you mount a single file as a virtual volume that appears as a normal drive in Windows. I knew there was a GNU/Linux version, so it seemed like a logical choice to use for the same purposes in the free world.
TrueCrypt is free-as-in-freedom (according to my hearsay understanding of the license), but the TrueCrypt Foundation behind it is apparently kind of secretive and closed with its development processes. I’m not sure how much of a concern this should be for me.

For anyone who wants a good recap of last night’s Republican presidential debate from Durham, N.H., Fox News Channel has a very good summary on its web site with some Fred Thompson coverage thrown in.
Many were calling Sen. John McCain the debate’s winner. It wasn’t the first time he’s been declared the winner of a debate. It hasn’t helped him improve his standing in the past and it probably won’t this time either.
The debate’s highlight was didn’t even feature McCain prominently. Instead, it was when Rep. Ron Paul and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee commenced to wailing on each over the Iraq War.

Purpose:
Link Indication is a WordPress 2.0.x and 2.1 compatible plugin that applies css class attributes to the links (anchor tags) in your posts, pages, and optionally in your comments. Thereby you can indicate your links, e.g. by images, for characterizing your types of links.
