Canon intro PowerShot TX1 capable of shooting 720p video
Though it’s primarily a digital camera designed for taking still shots, Canon’s latest digital offering, the PowerShot TX1, also boasts the ability to film 720p footage at 30fps.
It boasts a 10x optical zoom and a 7 megapixel imager. Interestingly, though, the press release states that the camera uses the MotionJPEG AVI file format rather than MPEG4 which is more common and generally considered better quality.
