A DRUG dealer suspected of involvement in the murder of Meredith Kercher was arrested after an undercover policeman reportedly befriended him on Facebook and then tracked the use of his internet accounts to the German city of Mainz.
Rudy Hermann Guede, 20, who has joint Italian-Ivory Coast nationality, was arrested late on Tuesday by German police and handed to Interpol after boarding a train without a ticket. He left Perugia after Ms Kercher’s murder nearly three weeks ago.

Many commentators didn’t realize that the 3 Skypephone doesn’t really do mobile VoIP. Even my friends at Areamobile thought at first that a 3G data flatrate would be necessary to use it. It was quite easy to get this false impression as the press release only said:

Hitachi Consulting’s VoIP Success has come on a silver platter to the the director of IT for Hitachi Consulting. The firm was initially 500 employees located in 14 offices inUSA which were connected by a WAN, when they deployed ShoreTel’s VoIP technology in 2000.
Going through multitude of problems due to WAN problems, followed by VPN troubles with Cisco, and a solution to the same with NetScreen and some upgrades, the electronics giants service arm is a happy camper in VoIP world.
