Well, it happened. YouTube is facing a $1 billion+ lawsuit from Viacom today. It was known that YouTube would eventually face at least one major lawsuit, and Viacom - which had already pulled 100,000 clips from the site, was perhaps the most likely to take a distaste to the company

Valuations for YouTube have attracted a lot of attention. Part of the reason is that analysts recently valued MySpace at 15 billion USD (in 3 years) and it is the leading online video site. YouTube is the 3rd largest online video website in the world behind Yahoo! Video and MySpace
