The Amex Touch Senses TSK-V7 keyboard sure looks sleek, and, hey, it’s wireless — both nice perks, to be sure — but the seemingly biggest “gotta have it” factor is that it’s made for PCs running Windows Vista. But before you get trampled in the mad rush to accessorize machines running Microsoft’s latest OS, let’s think this purchase through, shall we?Wireless means it has to have its own power supply. Which means recharging. Since keyboards tend to stay in one spot most of the time, taking away the cable that gives it a steady stream of power is really just adding hassle. Unless you’re planning to do a lot of switching between PCs, the 2.4-GHz RF technology isn’t going to do much for you except keep your desk infinitesimally neater.
