Sanjaya Malakar owns American Idol. It means nothing as to what he sings, how he looks or the fact that he has very marginal talent. The young man with the huge mop of hair, huge smile and tiny voice now has American Idol held hostage and is turning the show into a running joke. He was not in the bottom three last night, and was so safe even Idol host Ryan Seacrest spoofed the always comical Sanjaya by donning a Malakar faux-hawk wig. But this is season six of American Idol and it is a mess.

A lot of people have been commenting on my American Idol blogs, saying how much they hate Sanjaya and how they think he should be kicked off the show. Well, instead of bellyaching about it, I say let’s actually take some action and do something proactive see our least favorite contestant gone.
