The only reason why this is making news is because of the price! Yes, agreed Marcel Wanders is an amazing Dutch designer who’s knitted, crocheted collection of furniture enjoyed an amazing response. But when Beyonce and Jay-Z checked out DesignMiami for some good furniture, they picked and took one of those knitted chairs for a cool $40,000. The chair no doubt is gorgeous and is made from white cotton and coated with epoxy resin. But the price is to steep for something that’s half not there …
