Fergie apparently believes that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
After the video for Alanis Morissette’s version of the Black Eyed Peas song “My Humps” became a sensation on YouTube, Fergie sent the Canadian singer a congratulatory cake – but not just any cake, a source close to Fergie tells PEOPLE.
Fergie “thought the video was brilliant,” says the source. “She sent [Morissette] a cake in the shape of a derriere.”
A note on the flesh-colored cake read, “Alanis, you’re a genius. Love, Fergie,” according to Rosa Leung, 52, of Exotic Cakes in Los Angeles. The bakery made the specially ordered cake and delivered it to Morissette last Friday.
