Nokia Maps 2.0 Beta

Nokia Maps 2.0 BetaAfter several months, and one update, Nokia Maps 2.0 has graduated from the Nokia Beta Labs and is now available as a fully supported production application. I’ve given a you a preview of Nokia Maps back in April when it was announced at the 2008 Mobile World Congress, and have used it off and on since then. New features that are available in the Nokia Maps 2.0 update include a new pedestrian-friendly Walk mode, with cheaper subscription rates and a handy ‘breadcrumb’ feature that keeps a visual trail of where you’ve been.

There’s a new web browser in town for Windows Mobile fans that goes by the name Deepfish. It runs technology borrowed from Sea Dragon, the imaging engine behind Photosynth.
