Moontools Ajax and Effects New Version 1.1

Woot. Mootools 1.1 is out and it’s awesome. Mootools r87 was the first stable release of the framework (end of Nov. of 06). Mootools 1.0 came out (r241) at the end of Jan. and was a huge improvement, adding functionality, documentation (I wrote those, thank you very much), and numerous bug fixes.

Digg API Visualization Contest

How the contest works

Entrants must use the Digg API and Flash tooklit, (developed by stamen design), to create works in Adobe Flash and Apollo. Then use the form below to submit your entry to us before the entry deadline at 8pm on Wednesday, May 16th. Our expert panel of judges will review all entries and will choose the top 10 finalists based on the following criteria: use of the Digg API, effective display of data, usefulness, and creativity. On Thursday, May 24th, we’ll post the 10 finalists under the Design category on Digg.com, and registered users will have a week to Digg the entrants that they like best. At the end of the voting period, we’ll announce the winners here on the contest site and on the Digg blog.
