Youtube Video Of Minneapolis Bridge Collapse

minneapolis bridgeLate in the day yesterday a bridge, part of I-35 over the Mississippi river in Minneapolis, collapsed, injuring and killing a number of commuters. The latest reports from the scene indicate the process has moved from a rescue operation to a recovery operation and estimates of up to 30 dead are stil being bandied about. CNN was able to snag themselves a copy of the tape from a security camera pointed directly at the bridge at the time of the collapse — here’s that video, as shown this morning on the Today Show.

The company promoted the new website by presenting New York City’s cab association with 10 hybrid vehicles. The website is meant to be a source that has everything that you will need to fight global warming. There is an interative Green House on the website where you can walk through the house and see how you can save energy and resources.

Researcher’s Analysis of al Qaeda Images Reveals Surprises

 

Neal Krawetz, a researcher and

computer security consultant, gave an interesting presentation today at the Blac

kHat security conference in Las Vegas about analyzing digital photographs and video

images for alterations and enhancements.Using a program he wrote (and provided on the conference CD-ROM) Krawetz could print out the quantization tables in a JPEG file (that indicate how the image was compressed) and determine the last tool that created the image — that is, the make and model of the camera if the image is original or the version of Photoshop that was used to alter and re-save the image.

Ron Paul For President!

While Democrats and Republicans on the Hill continue their “Yeah but now I’m against it” routine, Texas Congressman Ron Paul doesn’t have to issue any apologies. He was always against the invasion and occupation of Iraq, and he’s running for president.

Paul is a libertarian Republican who constantly enrages the GOP because he actually believes in a small federal government and sound fiscal policies. He’s anti-death penalty, anti-drug laws, anti-police state, anti- Patriot Act and anti-anything that’s not authorized by the Constitution. Texas Dems now love him for his “principled anti-war stance,” while pro-abortion voters don’t need to worry about the obstetrician/gynecologist’s strong pro-life stance — he knows the federal government has no right to get involved in such stuff. And as California just proved, states can figure out universal health care and global-warming rules while the federal government can’t do anything.
