The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid SUVs are reported to go as many as 21 miles per gallon of gas in the city driving conditions (for the 2WD model), which is 50 per cent better than the same model with an ordinary 5.3-liter V8 powerplant may achieve.The numbers will not be equally impressive on the highway, though, being 22mpg and 20mpg respectively.
New for 2008, the Civic EX-L Sedan and Coupe introduce a leather-trimmed interior to the Civic lineup for the first time. A Civic MUGEN Si Sedan also debuts for the 2008 model year with a high-performance suspension, forged aluminum wheels, aerodynamic body styling and a sport-tuned exhaust system.

If you’ve heard recently, there was a drop in oil prices around the world, although this may seem good news, it sure isn’t looking as good for fuel-efficient vehicles such as hybrids. The recent oil drop have left American motorists be less concerned about saving the world and buying more fuel-efficient vehicles. Toyota even started to offer incentives and discounts on some electric-hybrid models including the Prius for the first time.
Nissan has announced pricing on its new 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid sedan. Starting at $24,400, the gasoline-electric vehicle will feature EPA fuel economy of 42 mpg City and 36 mpg Highway cycle. The vehicle is subject to a tax credit of $2,350 in all the Green states that have adopted California emissions regulations.
