Sparky - The Alexa Toolbar for Firefox

Alexa Celebraes his 10th anniversary for its Alexa Toolbar, originally released on July 17, 1997. To Celebrate this historic day Alexa is releasing first FireFox compatible toolbar, called Sparky.
before this it was stumbleupon.com and now alexa are following their steps. Why yeah alexa launched their Toolbar called Sparky for their beloved user around the world! now you can download alexa toolbar for free. What this toolbar all about?

For me this toolbar is worth to download since i love to check the site ranking that visited

well bascally it has :

* Related Links: Find sites that are similar to the one you are currently visiting.
* Traffic Trend: A sparkline showing the traffic trend from the last four months.
* Reach Meter: A neat little indicator that shows the site’s Reach.
* Traffic Rank: Shows the current site’s Alexa Traffic Rank

See below picture, once you installed your alexa toolbar you will see below option in your firefox toolbar.

* Sparkline - A very small condensed traffic history graph. Gives you a quick view to show whether the site is moving up or down.
* Rank - Shows the traffic rank of the site.
* Reach Indicator - Provides a qualitative view of whether a site’s rank is good or bad.
* Related Links - Provides up to 10 Related links in the browser’s File | Edit | View menu.
* Shortcuts - Clicking on Sparky brings up a menu of other handy shortcuts, including Alexa Detail pages, Cached Pages, Search Pages and more.

If you have a Firefox browser, go here to see Sparky and give it a run.

see traffic trend without even have to go to alexa website. How it works? well say like you visit my website www.hitnews.net and currently you are viewing my site right? without having to check my ranking through alexa.com site, you can see my website ranking directly on the bottom of my browser well that awsome! i don’t have to go to alexa.com anymore just to view traffic ranking for the site that im visiting! yeeha! thanks to alexa toolbar!

But if you think that’s not enough , dont worry there is more features, it’s the reach meter as you can see there it’s a good information for us as a webmaster!

like everything else when you go and check a website ranking at alexa.com you normally see the related link about where do the visitors go after visiting that particular website.
