Ron Paul to Visit Google and Daily Youtube Video

Congressman Ron Paul (R-Tex) will pay a visit to Google headquarters in Mountain View California - probably in July, according to observers of the Ron Paul campaign for president.

Such meetings have already taken place between candidates and executives and employees of the company. They are seen as having a national impact because of the importance of Google itself as a trend-setting company and because other technology leaders inevitably turn out to listen to what a given candidate has to say.

Ron Paul campaign staffers themselves would neither confirm nor deny that talks are ongoing with the Internet search giant. However, observers said that the meeting was fairly well set and only the date needed to be confirmed.

“These meetings are not pro forma, but are generated by employee demand,” explained one campaign observer. “Ron Paul has a vocal contingent of supporters within Google and we believe that’s what has driven the invitation.”

A quick “Google” of previous presidential candidates visiting the company’s headquarters revealed mostly democratic names – Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards. A Google spokesperson could not be reached to confirm or deny the report.

Details are yet to emerge, but it is possible that Ron Paul could speak with Google CEO Eric Schmidt and also address Google employees.
