If you build websites using WordPress, your life is about to get a lot easier.

It’s simple. wpzipper lets you quickly and easily generate a fresh WordPress installation zip file complete with all the plugins you want–already in the right place. Or, you can generate a “plugins-only” zip file that contains just the plugins you’ve selected without the WordPress files.

First off, thanks for checking out the site. I hope you find it as useful as I do (why I created it). Having a bunch of plugins all in the same place, and the ability to combine everything you want into one easy to install zip file should save hard-core and novice WordPress users everywhere.

This site is brand-spankin’ new and it’s already getting some great feedback. I’m also getting some great discussion about ways to make this site even better. I already have a few more features in mind that will make things even better. But, I wanted to get a working version of the site up and running and give it a good workout. So, please, feel free to leave any comments or suggestions about this new, free service.

One of the more obvious directions wpzipper will be heading next is to allow for WordPress themes to be packaged up just like wpzipper is packaging up plugins. That’ll likely be the next major feature added, so look forward to that!
