PC World crowns Vista Biggest Tech Disappointments of 2007

More bad news for Windows Vista as PC World crowns it as the biggest tech disappointment of the year.
Here are some of the comments added by PC World from their recent article:
* “Five years in the making and this is the best Microsoft could do?”
* “It’s not that Vista is awful.” “It’s just that Vista isn’t all that good.”
* “Despite its hefty hardware requirements, Vista is slower than XP.”
So what exactly is it that makes us not want to migrate from XP to Vista? Here are some great points highlighted by Davinder over at ToThePC:
* Windows Vista is slow and getting slower.
* Huge list of in-compatibility with other software.
* Need to upgrade computer hardware to a fair extent.
* People are still in love with darling ‘Windows XP’.
* Price of Windows Vista does not justify value it brings.
* There many more reasons, I am sure you know/gone through them!
Perhaps what Davinder suggested, that possibly both Vista and XP should be available for consideration as pre-installed systems on new purchased PCs instead of just having Vista may be the better way of doing it. To have Vista essentially on all newly built PCs clearly imply that Vista is the successor for XP, indeed this is what Microsoft would like however this clearly is not happening…
