And the cost? I mean the N95 is already at $699.

But its not about the feature set. It never has been with the iPhone or any other Apple product. Its about the ease of use. How usable is the Nokia product?

Isn’t it pathetic? Nokia has had the market all this time, but yet is so unoriginal that the only thing they can come out with is a blatant rip-off of Apple’s iPhone? Where the heck is anyone’s imagination?

Typical. I expected no less…

Microsoftian tactics by Nokia. Copy a product (poorly), stuff it with as many features as you can and offer nothing new. Sure it looks like an iPhone to confuse consumers into thinking their getting the same product, but its easy of use and reliability, the hallmark of Apple product success, will be the same old same. Just like iPod competitors, they pack in the features while bleeding marketshare.

Nokia like Microsoft doesn’t understand the fundamental shift that Apple has brought to each market it enters. But consumers do.

Apple fanboys really need to get off the koolaid. The iPod device is a testament to superior marketing & packaging and its success is not reflective of how superior the product is. Other MP3 players have been flat out better (who wants to buy a million and one accessories when I should have gotten those features in the box?) but the iTunes store is ultimately the difference maker for those who keep it legal.
