The company that created the M2 Heliodisplay mid-air projector has just released their new M3/M3i Heliodisplay which is basically a monitor that displays images in real space like a hologram. The new display has a 30-inch viewable free-space image and a resolution of 1024×768, and costs $18,100 for the basic version and $19,400 for the interactive version.

The display isn’t very stable and still has pretty poor image quality, but once they perfect this, watching porn documentaries is never going to be the same. A video of the display in action after the jump.
